The original plan was for this week to be our Vision Prayer Retreat. Unfortunately those who planned to come were unable to do so. Because of that we would appreciate it if you are able to take time on one or more days during this week to pray for the different aspects of the church work.

Our Team: Lorne, Kathy-Lu, Albert, Elaine, Sherry
- Pray that God will continue to give us good communication and cooperation
- Pray that we will be Holy Spirit directed as ministry occurs during daily life and not just when we plan events
- Pray for language learning and for the ability to express things clearly when we do have opportunities to talk about spiritual matters
- Pray that we will be encouraged from God’s Word and not discouraged by the nearly constant sound of traditional worship that happens around us.

Ministry Partnerships:
- Pray that God will bless our two Seamless Link Partners: Nanaimo Alliance Church and Heritage Alliance Church. They are passionate about their own communities and about working with us to see a church established here.
- Pray for Deep Grace Alliance Church (Taipei) as they are planning to send people to help with children and youth ministry on the 4th weekend of each month. Frequently they will also worship with us on the 4th Sunday.
- Pray God’s blessing on those who come to pray and accompany us on visitation ministry.

A Taiwanese Coworker:
- Pray for God to send us a full-time coworker who has a passion for those living in rural working class communities
- Pray for the financial resources to support such a worker and the costs of the ministry being done. (Pray that God will supply sufficient resources in the Taiwan Hidden in Plain Sight Approved Special as a way of supplementing local giving.)

School Ministries
- Pray that the students will remember the Bible stories they hear and have curiosity to know more about Jesus.
- Pray for creativity and access to quality resources as we plan English lessons.
- Pray that students will sense the love of Christ as we teach and interact with them.

Youth Ministry
- Pray that the youth will be safe at the monthly drop-in evening and that God will use that event to build relationships.
- Pray for more youth to attend.
- Pray for opportunities to interact with the youth between events.
- Pray for Sherry as her teaching job gives her opportunities to meet youth.

Salvation and establishing of a church
- Pray for the salvation of neighbours and friends who do not know Jesus.
- Pray that people will be attracted to Jesus, and a relationship with Him.
- Pray for freedom from things in their daily lives that hinder them from desiring to hear about Jesus.
- Pray that Christ-followers would be bold in talking about Jesus.
