This week both Kathy-Lu and I have been reading in the book of Judges. Sometimes the story of what happened is hard to imagine. But deliverance came to the people when the Spirit came upon the leader with power. May we be people who not only experience the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit at salvation but also people who experience the power of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives. Please pray that for us and for yourselves this week.
We have been enjoying our vacation time in the mountains. We are also thankful for some opportunities to listen to people and point them toward Jesus. Please pray that the seeds that have been planted will grow and that God will send someone at the perfect time to reap a harvest of faith in those individuals’ lives.
Kathy-Lu is asking that you join us in asking God to help her recover from her cough and cold symptoms. It is severe enough that she has trouble sleeping at night.
This week we will be going back to Yunlin–working in the schools, preparing for Easter, and seeking to use this important holiday season to talk with people about Jesus. We are also hoping to be in touch with teams that are coming this summer, deciding together about some of the things that will happen while the teams are in Taiwan.
We praise the Lord that Elyssa now has a part-time job. Please pray for God’s provision for both Ethan and Elyssa (our children living in Calgary) who need to find full-time work in Calgary.
