Thank-you for praying for us this last week! And thank-you for praying for the meetings with the pastors.
God is Working!
There was a good spirit of unity as the pastors met this past week. There were a number of comments heard that there was a bonding as people from different areas of the island became better acquainted. In fact, a group of pastors who live 1-2 hours south of us are planning to come visit us next month. The purpose of the visit will be fellowship and mutual encouragement.
A number of the topics discussed brought greater clarification of how things need to be done in order to conform to the documents that have been filed with the government for the registration of the church organization. There was good discussion and a sense that we need to work hard to do things well.
The discussion on starting new churches also went well. We have asked the pastors to go back to their churches and pray with us about the need for starting churches so that people can have access to the gospel. If they feel led of God, then we will seek to explore partnerships to start new churches together.
It is exciting to dream about what may happen. Now we are waiting and praying to see how God puts plans together.
Praying Together
- Praise the Lord for encouraging interactions and unity at the recent meetings.
- Praise the Lord that Albert and Elaine Lu’s three children have all been officially accepted to attend the MK school opening in July. Please pray for wisdom as we discuss where their family should live.
- Please pray that God will create partnerships between churches and missionaries so that the gospel can be shared more effectively.
- Please pray for wisdom as we do long-term planning with short-term teams preparing to come.
- Please pray for the Easter morning outreach. Church members will be distributing colourful eggs in the market and talking to people about Christ’s resurrection. Please pray for good weather and a good response
