2025 Baptism #2
Do you remember when Lorne told you that he was praying for five baptisms to take place at the Baozhong Alliance Church during 2025? We are 40% of the way there in seeing God answer that prayer.
On Sunday morning, July 27, Josh was baptized and shared his story of coming to the decision to declare his faith in Christ in this way. Josh is the younger brother of James who was baptized on the first Sunday of this year. Josh was the last of his family to declare their faith by being baptized.
Please pray for him to grow in his faith. He will begin senior high school this Fall. He will board at a school in Taichung (about an hour’s drive away).
Please pray for more people to trust Christ Jesus to be their Saviour and declare it through baptism.
Praise and Prayer
- Praise the Lord that the short-term team has arrived in Baozhong and were with us to witness the baptism. Please pray for them to lead well at the elementary student day camp (VBS-style). Pray that the volunteer leaders from Taiwan will work seamlessly with them to help students learn about faith in Christ. Pray that the 29 registered campers will enjoy their camp experience.
- July is the time when all three of our children celebrate their wedding anniversaries. Please pray for God’s continued blessing on their marriages and family life.
- The FuHsing Elementary School has a new principal who will begin his duties on August 1. Please pray for a good working relationship with him. The church is hoping to continue to partner with the school to hold camps and other activities for the students.
