An Exciting Sunday
There were three first-time visitors at church yesterday (Sunday, August 17).
Of the seventeen adults in attendance, seven are exploring who Jesus is and what it means to have a relationship with him. During our lunch together, one of our visitors who knows Christ as Saviour told the story of how he came to faith in Christ.
It was an encouraging day! God is at work and gave us a glimpse of what He is doing.
Thank-you for praying for God to lead people to faith in Christ.
Praise and Prayer
- Praise the Lord for an encouraging meeting with Canadian C&MA coworkers. Although we had to meet online because a typhoon chose that day to blow through, we were able to praise God for His works and pray about heart burdens.
- Please pray that those hearing the gospel will understand. Pray that they will be attracted towards belief in Christ.
- The after school program for elementary students at Baozhong Alliance Church will begin September 1. Please pray for Pastor Joshua as he plans and prepares. There will be a number of students who have not attended previously.
