End of Semester & Pre-Lunar New Year Events
The students completed their exams. We enjoyed the Fuhsing Elementary School  BBQ (photos above) as the school celebrated with the community.  It also was an opportunity for us to learn more about what is happening in town, including that a Buddhist organization is providing lunch Monday through Friday to senior citizens at this activity centre.  Our hope is that one day we will hear the residents talking in a similar way about the church being involved and providing for people’s needs.

Election Results
Thank-you for praying as the Taiwanese people elected a new President, Vice-President, and the members of the  113-seat Legislative Assembly.  We praise God for the peaceful process.  Legislators begin their work in February, while President Ying-wen Tsai will take the oath of office on May 20th.

Children’s Ministry
January 23  will be the final Children’s Club meeting prior to the Lunar New Year.  The children will have opportunity to exchange their club points for prizes.  Please pray that God will continue to work and strengthen the children’s belief in Jesus.

Strategic Planning
Our team of missionaries will hold a strategic planning retreat on February 2-3.  Please pray that God will guide our hearts to set achievable goals that He has for the Baozhong Church work.  Pray as planning and reflection about these matters happens even before the retreat dates.
