Happy Mother’s Day
We wish all the Moms a very Blessed Mother’s Day! (We are glad to begin celebrating early and express our appreciation to them.)
This year, in Baozhong, the church will offer an aromatherapy workshop on the Saturday prior to Mother’s Day. The presenter was with us last year and was well received. She will also share in the morning worship service on Mother’s Day.
Please pray that those who attend will have open hearts to receive the spiritual sharing that accompanies the event.
Praise and Prayer
- God chose to answer our prayers for Brother Hsu by calling him to his eternal home with Christ. He went to be with Christ on April 30. There will be funeral and memorial services on May 7 & 8. The family is choosing to have Christian services to mark his passing. Please pray for God to comfort the family and to comfort our church family. Brother Hsu was an important member in our small church.
- Please continue to pray for JH as he receives treatment for cancer. He is having regular Bible studies with Pastor Joshua and is growing towards making a personal commitment to place his faith fully in Christ.
- On Monday May 5, we will join with the US and Canadian international workers for a time of prayer. We will also farewell a couple who is transferring to a ministry outside of Taiwan and to another couple who is soon leaving for a one-year home assignment in the USA.
