Generosity

October is month that reminds us to be both grateful and generous.  Churches in Canada frequently use the Thanksgiving Day celebration as an opportunity to encourage people to make donations to a local food bank. We are choosing to participate.

Did you know that the Baozhong Alliance Church partners with other organizations to provide food assistance to needy families? This happens year round.

Please pray that people who receive assistance will be open to consider that the church does such things because God is a caring and generous God. Our hope and prayer is that people will want to believe and put their faith in such a loving God.

And, please consider being generous during the month of October. If you are looking for suggestions:

• Your local food bank and community services organizations.
• The C&MA Jaffray Offering to help people find hope.
• The Baozhong Alliance Church Facility – Taiwan to help the church serve its community better.
• Invite someone to celebrate Thanksgiving Day with you.

Praise and Prayer

• Pray that we will have an attitude of gratitude in our daily lives. We want to be thankful to God for many blessings and not just focus on the challenges that must be overcome.
• Pray for us to encourage pastors and church leaders as we visit different churches. Pray that they will gain new insights regarding how to share the unchanging gospel truth with those living in today’s world.
