Shining Light

While on vacation, we saw some lighthouses. Sometimes they are located in more isolated areas the coast.

Jesus Christ instructed us to let our light shine in the presence of others. We are not to hide our relationship with Christ.

Like the lighthouses, it can sometimes feel like we are alone. But we must not believe that lie. Christ Jesus promised to be with us and to never leave us. He promised that the Holy Spirit will provide power for witnessing.

Please pray for us and other Christ-followers to be conscious of Christ’s presence. He is continually giving us mercy and grace.

Praise and Prayer

• We will be visiting people in the Greater Toronto Area this week. Please pray for our safety as we drive on unfamiliar roads.  We are asking God to provide opportunities to bless and encourage people.
• We are hearing good reports from the churches in Taiwan. Some believers are choosing to be baptized. Others are bringing friends to attend events. Please pray that God will build a glorious, witnessing church in Taiwan.
• Sept 25: Mid-Autumn Festival – many Taiwanese churches will use this as an opportunity to have BBQ events with local residents. (Baozhong Alliance is holding their BBQ event on September 19.)
